Look around. Virtually every product you use has a graphic component to it, whether it is an every day device like your microwave or a piece of specialized equipment you may use at work. Melrose Nameplate & Label Company manufactures custom graphic components for products in just about any industry. Choose from one of four main types of graphic components. If your graphic doesn't fit these categories, call us anyway. We are versatile and love challenges.
Graphic Overlays and Panels are decorative components typically used as the front panel on a piece of equipment. Melrose produces graphic overlays for two functions: 1) as an integral part of a membrane switch or 2) as standalone label. Graphic overlays are produced on transparent materials and 2nd surface printed. Melrose completes the production of graphic overlays (that often incorporate LCD and LED windows) using die-cutting, and embossing processes. Melrose also produces silicone rubber key pads that are used as graphic overlays when the greater three dimensional appearance, and feel of silicone rubber is desired.
Labels and Decals Melrose produces labels and signs for 1) point of purchase advertising, 2) industrial equipment, and 3) consumer products. Our point of purchase advertising labels include large format displays and signs, labels for arcade games, labels for backlit light boxes, static cling window labels, shelf markers and ceiling danglers.
Melrose produces thin labels for industrial equipment for caution, rating and identification purposes on electrical, electronic equipment, and mechanical machinery. A urethane encapsulant can be added to create a 3 dimensional domed label. Our consumer products labels are most frequently used in cosmetics, vitamin supplements, and food packaging applications.
Metal Nameplates Melrose's metal nameplates are used on industrial and military equipment including food machinery, electronic defense systems, military vehicles, marine, land and air transport equipment and industrial machinery. We also produce metal nameplates and signs with photographic images. Our metal nameplates are imaged using etching, screen printing and metal photo processes.
Our metal nameplates are produced on aluminum, stainless steel and brass. We finish our nameplates with serial numbers, bar codes, unusual perimeter shapes, and internal cutouts, embossed features, adhesive and mounting holes.
Other Products. We found that the same equipment and know-how used to make the above four product types also lent themselves to other projects. Our capabilities have allowed Melrose to branch into the manufacture of other products such as microphone flags, banners, auction paddles, vehicle graphics, signage, and more. Tell us about your project and we will engineer and manufacture it to your specifications.
